Pat BarberPat Barber: I hope I never have to fire my handgun. Imagining a scenario where it becomes necessary to put a round in the chamber is a scary thought.
The scary thoughts would be made worse if I was not confident it will be clean and work perfectly if need be. A female judge (of all people) taught me this. I didn’t argue.
From this perspective, this low priced cleaning kit is priceless, rust resistant. The thing I would add to make this a one stop transaction would be gun oil. I’ll probably use my barber’s clipping shear oil and soak the stack of cleaning patches. Rust is not a gunslinger’s friend.

The original kit had a couple of damaged parts, contacted the manufacturer and a replacement was sent right away. Great product and very happy with their customer service. After reading the reviews of other kits I was actually glad this one didn't come with any cleaning compounds since it sounds like those have a tendency to leak when shipped by amazon. I just picked some up locally.

David Hicks: I wanted a kit that covered a wide range of both handguns and rifles and this fit the bill. For me specifically .22, .223, .38 and .45 which are all covered.

Comes with all the tools you expect: brass brushes, multi-section rod and T-handle, cleaning swabs, patch puller, jags, and finally patches. You've got to provide your own solvent and oil.

I liked this kit because the patch puller/jags are brass and hopefully more durable. The fitted case is compact and moulded to carry everything - I just wish it had a little extra space to store any additional bits you might acquire that aren't included.

David Hicks: I wanted a single cleaning kit to cover all the firearms I own (22's, 9mm, 45, 223) and this kit contains pretty much everything in one spot.

Main benefits:
1. Covers most common rifles and handgun calibers and barrel lengths
2. All metal construction - other kits have plastic patch holders
3. Case is solid- the latches actually have a cam lock to keep things closed

The only thing that's missing is swab brushes but those can be picked up for a few bucks each.

Andy: Great kit for the money - similar priced items on Amazon and in stores are junk and prone to stripped threads and broken plastic. This is a solidly crafted set of pistol cleaning tools, with all-metal rod and slotted tips, and an actual metal bushing in the plastic handle. Avoid the others in this price range (including the Hoppes branded ones); the all-plastic handles will crack and the plastic slotted tips will break.

THIS KIT DOES INCLUDE 22, 32, AND 44 CALIBER.

For some reason, the item description on Amazon and the packaging of the item don't mention this, but instead states "5 calibers" lists 38, 357, and 9mm as separate calibers... it has two bronze brushes, a cotton swab, and a slotted tip for 22cal. It does NOT have a bronze brush for a 32, but does have a designated cotton swab and slotted tip. It has a dual-purpose 44/45 bronze brush, 44/45 cotton swab, and slotted tip.
