E. C. Graybill: Everything about this vest is five stars except that it runs small. I take a medium size in most clothing, or a size 10, but this is way too small in terms of circumference. A large or perhaps an XL would have been more appropriate. Unfortunately I let this go too long and can no longer return it, so I will donate it to my favorite charity shop.

MLV: I wanted a light vest for weather heading into winter and spring. This lightweight serves that purpose with a simple long-sleeve or turtle-neck top. I do like the material and the nice fit. I purchased Small, my usual size, and realized a bulky sweater or sweat shirt may be a bit to heavy underneath.

Marie-Jo: J'ai acheté ce gilet doudoune sans manche pour le porter sous un pardessus quand il fait un peu frais. Il est cintré mais si vous voulez le porter plus près du corps il faut prendre une taille plus petite. Au début, j'ai commandé la taille S que je prends habituellement mais le gilet était un peu large. Alors j'ai dû le retourner pour prendre la taille SX. Sinon c'est un produit de qualité et conforme à la description sauf que le gilet de couleur marron foncé n'a pas de pression aux poches.

H. N.H. N.: For the price, you get much much more value with this nifty vest. The color is absolutely amazing. The fit, quite form fitting and enhances your feminine body. It is not a puffy jacket or baggy and is meant to be worn not in very cold weather. It is more quilt thickness than jacket thickness, if that makes sense. The length is nice and long (which gives it a more feminine feel), in addition the torso area fitting snug around the waist and then letting a little bit out at the bottom. It is not baggy, if that is what you're afraid of. There is not a cinch that you can tie at the waist, but the vest does cinch, as it is shaped in a V shape... it is NOT boxy at all. I love it.

I am a medium and I ordered the medium. I would say it is true to size, IF you are XS or S built. This vest fits VERY well on small framed bodies (think asian bodies), OR if you want a very fitted vest. If you prefer that your vest have room for a thick shirt or sweater, then definitely go up a size. It can still look good on average to medium frame bodies, but I would size up. This is important to note!
