SP68686868: I usually buy the bones with marrow. But 80% of them have no or very little marrow. Basically hollow bones
So I decided to try this
Used to get them in butcher dept yrs ago
Was hesitant to buy one bone for $25
BUT he spent 3 hrs on it then needed a nap. Now ,following morning it's been his project most of the day and is presently working on it again.So getting all this time of him occupied ( temp it's triple digits here so he's stuck in all day.) Now he's a busy boy.So yes I admit it's worth the money .Usually everything else is finished in minutes. It's been hrs and looks like hrs more on this one

pgmrpgmr: These bones are *huge*! I was surprised at each dog's reaction. All three were instantly intrigued, eagerly sniffing them before I even removed the wrapping. One dog is an avid chewer who even chews on fallen tree branches, yet after one sniff and lick, promptly walked away, never to return. Maybe she didn't like the hickory? The second dog is not yet an adult but happily chewed off and on over several days. The third dog acted like she hadn't eaten in weeks and chomped with gusto; however, I'm glad I was watching because twice she broke off a chunk of bone which I quickly took away to avoid the possibility of choking. I doubt I will buy these again, mostly due to price, but they were nice treats for two of the dogs.
