Travis Morrison: Set up once, after hitting the product started to show signs of wear. Broken the second time out.

OldBuck: I bought this to replace the original purchase ten years ago. It's great for driving golf balls in the back yard.
Replacement was necessary when a cold spell followed a rain storm. Some of the plastic rings cracked and broke due to the increased weight of the drape from the rain and the effect of the cold weather on the plastic rings.

Daniel Davalos: Al ser mejor precio que la mayoría pensé que no iba a durar pero es fácil de armar y si dura... solo deben contemplar que necesitarán apoyo para fijarla bien al piso o al pasto. Me gusto mucho el producto.

HW: Very easy to set up. Only use practice foam golf balls so ensure the net lasts. Use it 5 times a week and very impressed with it.

Have hit a few normal golf balls into and it still holds up well. Constant hits from normal golf balls may reduce the life of the net.

Bradley: Very easy to setup and take down, also portable. My golf swing improved drastically after just a few weeks of using this. Highly recommend.

Simon: Great net, does exactly what you would expect a golf net to do, and very reasonably priced.

The top bar that holds the net up is effectively just a long modular flexible tent pole, with sharp points at each end, so for outdoor use you just bend the bar down at each end and push the points into the dirt. You can bend it more or less to make the net higher/narrower, or lower/wider.

For indoor use (carpet, concrete etc) there is a modular metal base which the top bar ends plug into - it works fine, it's not strong or thick metal but it does the trick.

So far (limited use) the net works fine with both practice balls and real ones, (including with a driver), but of course you should set it up safely so that if a ball did happen to go through it wouldn't hit the wife, or even worse the family dog. Just common sense. I'm using the Calloway HX practice balls which are heavy enough to feel good off the club but won't kill anyone.

I use mine on the small deck/verandah of a city apartment (!!) so I threw away the base, and mounted two 6" lengths of PVC pipe vertically against the walls on opposite sides of the deck so the top bar can plug into...

Kevin Rattray: After barely playing for 15 years, I joined a men’s league this year to get back into it. For the first 4 weeks I was suffering, hitting between 110-120 and was the laughing stock of my foursome. I found this net on Amazon and loaded up a ton of YouTube videos. Yesterday, shot a 42 for 9 holes. This net works great and saved my game. Easy to set up and take down and seems perfectly durable and large enough to catch shots ranging from driver to 9-iron from 6-8 feet out.

darread1: The practice net replaced a similar product. I have been very happy with it. First, it was very easy to put up out of the box. Secondly, a good drive would sometimes go thru the netting of the old net. Not with this one. I would recommend purchasing some PVC pip; cut two lengths of about 12"; drive them into the turf. Insert each end into the PVC pipe.It works well.
