~ Valeria ~: I am about to start reading it, but will need to find a page magnifier as the font is so tiny. I appreciate other reviews that confirm this will be a worthwhile read.

William G. Piper: First off, the book is small but I think that's great. I love having smaller books as they are easier to carry around and when one starts accumulating numerous books, the smaller size does save on space. The text is spaced out and is very easy to read. I enjoy having different translations of these gospels, so this is a welcomed book. I did not see it listed anywhere, so here is a list of the gospels that are included in this collection:
The Fable of the Pearl
The Gospel of Thomas
The Gospel of Mary Magdalene
Melchizedek
The Gospel of Philip
Poimandres
The Apocalypse of the Great Power
The Sophia of Jesus Christ
Human Suffering
The Gospel of Truth
The Greatest Human Evil is Forgetfulness of God
The Secret Book According to St. John I, II & III
Thunder
The Gospel of Judas
The book just offers translations, no commentaries.
HIGHLY recommended!

BUTCHO: So, here's the thing. Those of us that were conditioned by the Guardians of the Politically Correct Education System in an attempt to keep any of us from thinking for ourselves probably shouldn't read this book. Books like this that try to get us to realize that we have been lied to for the past 2,000 years or so about the true message of Jesus should be on every Loyalist's To Burn List. We have been taught a fabricated history by the winners of past Religious and Political Wars. The winners to date unfortunately tend to be those willing to do anything for their own vested interests. I will kill you in the name of the God of Love if you don't cowtow to the World System. The Gnostic Gospels are not a part of the Constantine Canon nor the King James Version of doctored historical fact. The Gnostic Gospels are Taboo according to the Mainstream Agenda. The separation of Church and State has been greatly exagerated for both are in the Control Business.
The mainstream New Testament is a story primarily written by a Roman Jew, the self-appointed Apostle Paul. Someone that did not even know Jesus. Someone that believed in the inferiority of women and other forms of slavery as well....

Lily Mac Mahon: This is a very interesting book and contains the most important fo the gnostic gospels. This edition is beautifully laid out.

Ediacaran: This book includes multiple texts from a wide range of so-called "gnostic" schools of thought. This includes early new testament apocrypha like the gospel of Thomas and the hymn of the Pearl, Valentinian texts, Sethian and Cainite texts, but also a few tractates from the Hermetica (which is strictly speeking not gnostic, but influenced gnosticism).
However, it should be noted that many of these texts are known from fragmentary sources. More scholarly sources will clearly indicate what part of the text is missing. This collection takes some liberty in filling the gaps, which makes for an easier reading experience, but might be misleading.
As an aside, the traduction of the gospel of Judas found in this collection seems to be based on the first edition of the National Geographic translation from 2006. This was the first translation available and it contained some obvious mistakes that were fixed in the second edition. The version found in this collection repeat these mistakes, such as the fact that Judas would be part of the "holy generation" instead of being "excluded from the holy generation".
