Very comfortable and while we hope we never have to see the helmet get used, it does give us peace of mind to have them wearing these. We only have need for them a couple times a year, but we appreciate the product.

Hodgie: This is a decent starter helmet for younger kids riding in grass at reasonable speeds. The fit is very good and the outer shell feels very durable. It is DOT approved but know that this is the lowest level of the three helmet safety ratings. Once you or your child start to ride serious dirt, street and at high speeds then you need to upgrade the helmet beyond the minimum DOT rating.
I purchased this for a 11 year old riding a restored 50cc 1970 Honda Monkey.
