Once installed on the wall, the shelves droop a little because there is only one bracket on one side of the shelf holding it up. I assume they might droop more if anything with any kind of weight is put on the shelf. They are little shelves so that may not be a huge issue.
I still gave them 4 stars because they are adorable!
