Elyse: I bought this after my cast came off but my arm is still broken for getting the bus to work. It does what it needs to but it constantly needs readjusting, so could have probably used one that didn't have 2 slots.

Robert G. Leroe: As a graduate of the Army's Combat Lifesaver Course, I firmly believe this is a mandatory item to have on-hand. This and a splint ought to be in your first-aid kit. It's an item you'll rarely see in those ready-made kits. Put together your own with items you can use. I have a molle pouch and it fits it, including the packaging. Having broken a wrist, I can attest to the importance of keeping an injured arm stable. This particular sling is simple and easy to use, very well made, and it should fit most people. In the Army I used a triangular cloth and safety pins. This is far more effective, though it does take up a bit more space. You likely don't need this right now, but get it so that if and when you do you'll be ready.
