Krystahl: It doesn't look like the picture at all. it's very wide and shows up wrapped up so tight that you have to opn it up and hope that it swells up. I'm going to try it but I don't think it looks good from the start.

Kathleen A.: My husband is ill and I needed to get trim up on a long over do project and I thought this. Would fit the bill.First thing do not spray pain this, you will have a major mess.I painted mine with a brush. The biggest favor that I can tell future buyers is the less you handle the front where the pattern is the better.I had to touch up a few places after I got it on.seems to have good adhesive and if you need to take it off and adjust be really careful.I ruined a piece the hard way.Be really careful in the corners,I used a eraser end of a pencil to squish it down in place.I had a little trouble peeling off the back around the edges because of the paint. I took freezer to lift up the small pieces to get the backing off.I think I might use this stuff again now that I am familiar with the quirks.Hope this helps

GGMa: This would work well as applications described. I purchased it to frame a large mirror. Didn't get the quality look I expected as paper covering adhesive was difficult to remove and kept splitting into strips as I tried to remove it and apply it to mirror. The foam stretched as I was trying to remove the uncooperative strips of paper which caused it to not be applied straight. I believe the product has been setting too long and adhesive has adhered to paper too strongly. Also wish there were more instructions to help with mitering

Yes it is very light foam & will NOT stick on it's own. I just put a little Elmer's glue on the strip & wood work for extra hold & it looks beautiful & fabulous. Look at my pix before & after. BUT IT IS NOT PURE WHITE, MORE OF A CREAM. Look at my pic against my white bedspread. I transformed my living & dining room with this. BUY IT!!
EXTRA TIP: it comes very tightly wrapped so I took it out of packaging and let it lay straight out across my couch for a day. This made it very simple to use. I already got a compliment after one day. I highly reccomend!!!!
