treewoman: I have owned a couple Suncast products and have been very satisfied with their sturdiness and durability. That's why I chose their 73 gallon deck box. Assembly is very easy, UNTIL you get to the lid. It didn't look like there was any way I was going to be able to pry those "hinges" onto the back of the deck box. I was afraid the little pins would break. After much frustration and trying to force the hinges onto the pins, I read some reviews of it and someone suggested just lining it up and sitting on it. Well, I tried that, and I am no lightweight, but that didn't do the trick. In desperation, I finally sat on it with force, kind of like bouncing myself down onto the back of the lid over each hinge. It worked!
People who complained that the directions are terrible maybe didn't take the time to read through them before assembly. It's simple- everything is labeled and couldn't be easier (until you get to the lid, heh). The deck box holds a lot, looks nice, and I'm sure it will be waterproof as are their other products. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lid assembly.

PSolin: Good Quality, went together easy, I wouldn't use it as a bench, I'm 180 and I can sit on it but you can feel it flex.

MZ: OK, so it's a plastic box, semi-ungainly, but big enough to store a bunch of our 19 x 19 patio chair cushions perfectly with some room left over, and I can leave it outside in a sort of sheltered spot. Does that job pretty well, but I wouldn't count on it for heavy duty, water proof, seriously dry, long term storage. "Weather resistant" - like "for the summer" - is probably accurate. But it probably won't be rain proof if you leave it in an exposed spot and it certainly won't keep anything really dry - although whatever is in there may not actually get wet. But for outdoor cushions and toys, etc., it's probably fine. Sounds damning with faint praise, but it isn't. It does the job, just don't expect archival storage. Oh, a kids can sit it but not you unless you're petite. But for price vs function, probably as good as any.
