Kat in SDKat in SD: By somewhat large, I mean that the size of the fro was large, not the fit of the wig, it fit great and was strangely comfortable compared to other costume wigs I have worn. It was a lot bigger than I was expecting.The wig as pictured looks like something you could legitimately pull off as your hair (if you were a red-headed disco queen in the 70's). The one I received is like CLOWN big. I have a big head and a round face which you think would help make it look less big but its still pretty big. All of that said, I bought it for my Mrs. Roper costume so I really can't complain, I was not entering a beauty contest or anything. The wig worked great for my purposes. Great quality and it was very comfortable. PLUS I am all set for my Annie costume next year.
