Dr. X: This is a good screwdriver. I see it as one that you will take from your tool chest and use it around the house when you don't want to take the whole toolbox with you. It is great for light and small jobs. It is also a great price and a good design. I had two problems. First, the bits that are kept in the handle fit too snugly. I found it hard to remove the bit from the storage socket. You almost need a pliers to get the bits out. The second problem was that the ratchet doesn't engage unless the screw is in quite tightly already, and there is no way to hold a part of the screw driver to make the ratchet work. So, for me, the ratchet was the most important part, and it did not work well. So, I am giving it 3 stars (okay product, useful and functional, but not the best in the category).

Eli Blumkin: I purchased this screwdriver because I needed a small and compact screwdriver that would be able to get into tight spaces. I was building a pc, and there was a screw that I could not reach with my standard size screwdriver. I decided to purchase this product, as it looked compact and was only 7 bucks.

I'm glad to say it did the job perfectly, and was exactly what I needed. I would have liked if there was less plastic on the handle and a bit more metal, but otherwise the screwdriver is perfect for tight spaces.

David Edmondson: This is a great tool, sturdy and the grip is well designed and sized to make it easy to manipulate the tool as you need. Yes the bits in the cap were too hard to remove; I say were because I took a small pair of cutting pliers and snipped off one ear of each bit slot. The bits are still held firmly in the cap, but now they are much easier to remove. The screwdriver has a built-in magnet that holds the bit in place as you use it. The precise ratcheting action is excellent; much better than similar tools costing 2 to 3 times as much. This tool was priced right and performed much better than I expected. I could not be happier with this purchase.

G-wiz: I bought this and the Stanley version of the exact same thing. I thought the differences would be of interest, This one costs a little more but it's well worth it. You get 1 more bit, the magnet is much stronger to hold the bit in place in the tool and best of all, the ratcheting mechanism is very fine and smooth. Stanley's felt as though there were fewer engaging teeth and is much less consistent about the way it engages. The 3 position selector, for which direction it locks, also feels more secure and yet easier to use.. Everything is more precise. These things are hard to describe but but easy to feel when it's in your hands. This one is definitely better on all counts. I'm updating this review because I'm going to buy more of these and lose the other brands that look identical.

Alex WiederAlex Wieder: 7 in 1 Ratcheting Screwdriver Set

This screwdriver is very comfortable to hold and the size is great, as it's not too small to work comfortably and not to big to carry around at all times. It's perfect for a child too, if you want yours to help you with little projects around the house and regular tools are too big and make their use clumsy (it's never too soon to teach a child proper tool use).

Even though my first impression is that this screwdriver's great, I can't give it five stars. The few reviews that state that it's hard to remove the bits from the holder inside the cap don't even begin to describe how hard it is. I almost cut myself trying. One work-around for this is to pry the bit outwards and then wiggle it free, but that's still difficult.

I ended up modifying the holder itself with a wire-cutter and pliers (see photos). The modification works perfectly and the bits are now very easy to remove.

I'm even considering removing the structure that holds the bits entirely, as that would allow me to fit eight bits inside the handle, instead of just six. As it is now, the bits need to be inserted in the holder or the cap won't screw back...
