I now have two Automobiles with Android Auto like the new automobiles sold today. It works flawlessly and installation was not difficult for a do-it-yourselfer. Running the rear camera wire was the only part that could be challenging to some. You may need to add some length to the wire for some cars. If you have never touched a wire one a car or house, you probably want to ask someone that understands basic wiring to help you as you need to run the camera wire to its location and connect the wires appropriately to work when you put your car in reverse. The installation of the back camera does not require drilling or screws as the two-sided adhesion tape that comes with the unit is unbelievably strong and holds the camera securely in place. I bought a set of two 95mm, 3.74 inch wide Adhesive Dashboard Pad Mounting Disk with 3M VHB adhesive for each car as the ones that came with the unit did not stick securely to the truck dash as it is not perfectly smooth.

The screen is incredible. You can use Google Maps or Waze. You can ask “Ok Google” questions while driving and it will answer your questions out loud without taking your eyes off the...

John G.John G.: I absolutely LOVE this product. Amazing value at only $125. I drive a 2012 Honda Civic Si that unfortunately didn’t come with the navigation package. After adding this to my dash, my normal drives are reinvigorated and more fun! From flipping through songs in Spotify, navigating with Waze, having my texts read to me, and the sense of security knowing my entire drive is being recorded by the 2.5K built-in dash cam — this thing really can do it all! The build quality is superb. The touch screen feels good and responsive and the OS runs super smooth. I’m thoroughly impressed!

Easy to install — just plug power in via the cigarette lighter port and audio via AUX port (or use the built-in Bluetooth.

10/10 recommend. I got so geeked from one day of use that I had to order one for my dad.

Vernon Gamble: I've had the unit for a year now, and it had delivered good sound quality and the radio picks up signal very well. The only feature that has a glitch is the video playback that has to be reset constantly. Other than that it is a decent stereo unit with better than factory sound and features. I'm very pleased 😀

M.E.M.E.: I took out the stock radio from my 2006 Ford F-150 XLR Crew Cab and replaced it with the P.L.Z MP-800 unit, and I've liked it so far. I bought vehicle-specific mounting hardware separately, and it fits very nicely into the dash. ***Be warned that the screen mirroring does not work with all phones (especially newer iPhones).*** It says in the description that it works with iPhone 11, and I even found a video on YouTube in which they demonstrate that it works with iPhone 11. I have an iPhone 11 Pro, and I surmised that they were similar enough that it would work with mine. But the screen mirroring does not work correctly with mine. (It generates an image and sound, but the image is tiny.) That's not a deal breaker for me, and I like enough about the rest of this unit that I am going to keep it. Installation was easy...even for someone like me who had never done this before. If you have never replaced a head unit, I recommend you watch a lot of videos on YouTube specific to your vehicle brand and model. Vicki L Hale: Decent value for money and decent sound quality from this unit. It was a little wider than my old head unit so required countersinking the screw holes to get it to fit. I also wired their harness myself via the wiring diagram (you just have to ignore the one in the instruction book and use the one on the amazon images)

Bluetooth is good and connects fast, although it loses all memory when the battery is disconnected which is a downside when you work on the car throughout the week.

There's a big gap between the screen and the glass so I simply press a little lower than the button and it works most of the time. Bluetooth connects fast but only if you haven't disconnected the battery and thus has reset itself.

Overall a good product for the money However, its a shame you have to contact them via Facebook where they make you write a review to get a software update. Would be easier if they just had a download link, and would save them time, and they'd get an extra star!

bubba: I’ve finally got round to installing this in my mk1 facelift Kia ceed, and I’m well impressed!
I was a bit paranoid that it wouldn’t work, as you do have to wire it up yourself, I got the connect2 iso harness with steering wheel control, and just matched the wire colours up. From there it’s as easy as plugging it in and putting everything back in place.
The radio it’s self if smaller than most aftermarket radios which are usually huge, this one reminds me a lot of the kenwoods. So you will need to buy a fascia to fit your car, I never done this so I’ve got a big gap where the radio is now.
Bluetooth works great with iPhones, but for screen mirroring you’ll have to use a usb unless you have an android.

All in all, I’m impressed. Just wish I never sat in the passenger seat while installing this, my handbrake came off and now I’ve got a repair bill for my bumper to worry about hahaha but at least the radio was cheap enough!

Matt: So it does the job. You will definitely have to wire this in yourself, so do not attempt this if you're in the least bit unsure. It has funny non standard mounting points, that do not even meet with a universal mounting cage. The detachable facia surround is NOT a standard size so you'll be ditching that. Thankfully the mount I bought separately has its own which thankfully fitted perfectly. I am fitting mine to a Ford Focus CC mk2 2008. You will need an after market wiring harness to help with wiring compatibility, which can be fiddly.
It does come with a rear/reverse camera but be warned... you have to plug it into the FRONT camera port! Weird. And yep... the front camera goes into the rear port. Sigh.
You will need to take the switching lead from the rear camera and splice it into the reverse light wire of you lights to make it work.
Now, onto the features.
The touch screen works well. easy to use function that are very self explanatory. Linking the phones is easy, via the onscreen instructions. The layout and onscreen graphics are a little behind in terms of refinement but this is NOT a £600+ brand name version.

Mr Thomas RafalMr Thomas Rafal: Don't let the low price of this stereo put you off. It's packed with features and the sound quality is exceptional even at double the price.
It comes with excellent fitting instructions filled with clear, colour photographs and links to their customer support should you encounter any difficulties.
Once fitted it's a breeze to set up and has loads of features that enhance the whole user experience. Things like phone mirroring, 7 band eq, radio, Bluetooth music, video playback (while the vehicle is stationary) reversing camera (supplied) and the option to fit a front camera and amplifier.
You can also install a custom boot screen by contacting their support team through Facebook. I did this and they responded quickly and emailed the file required directly to me, I saved it to a memory stick, popped it into the stereo and two minutes later I had the most up to date firmware and the boot logo of my choice.

You may need additional adapters to fit your vehicle but that's standard and not a reflection of the stereo or PLZ.

Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone considering buying it.

Emmagibson1192Emmagibson1192: I was bought this as a present to upgrade my exiting stereo in my Vauxhall Vivaro van. It was 'fairly simple' to install, it did require a bit of thinking as to what I needed to make it fit. The van had a double din fascia with a storage space, so I had to order a new fascia panel to make this unit fit. I also had to order a 'connects 2' unit to make the steering wheel controls work. The sterring wheel controls on this vivaro model are digital signal so required the 'connects 2 unit'. Once I had this installed I was able to use the stereo to program the right steering input controls. I also had to order a connector cable to make the stereo harness work with the exiting vans wiring harness. Took a while to identify the correct cables to join.

The stero looks loads better than my orignal unit. The sound is much better and it's easy to use. Bluetooth works brilliant at automatically pairing when I get in the van. The radio signal is also very good!

It would have been nice to be able to use google maps with the phone link whilst being able to listen to music at the same time. Unfortunately you can only use one or the other at one time.
