7-inch Double Din Car Stereo with Apple Carplay Audio Compatibility

Sal lavisteSal laviste: It's cool for the money.. I bought it thinking I would be able to stream from my android to the head unit. But the unit only works with older Android versions.
When using Bluetooth for music it isn't as loud as listening to the radio.
It really isn't great for phone calls either. U can hear the conversation well but the mic is trash.
And to to it off, I have a line of dead pixels going down the unit.

E&G M: How bad could it be right? Well, it's bad, very bad. The worst is the audio adjustments, bass and treble, they reset every time the unit is powered off. They show correct on screen, but revert to flat despite what is shown. The audio quality is horrible. Turn on loudness and it isn't good. Very muddy sounding. The "EQ" settings are worthless, none of them sound good. I had a JVC Aresenal single DIN unit before and it was night and day better. Every time I get in the car, I have to adjust the bass and treble so it will return to the sound I want.

It randomly crashes when connected to an iPhone 11 Pro for carplay. It may go for an hour, it may crash multiple times in 10 minutes. Carplay stops working, then the unit reboots, and it's a crapshoot if it will connect again.

There is no source volume adjustment. If the volume is adjusted for Carplay, when it reverts back to radio when you start the car again, the FM stations are extremely loud.

The screen is annoyingly bright at night. This is with it dimmed, connected to the illumination feed on the car. If you adjust the brightness all the way down, then you can't see it during the day, there is...

JW: Update 2!!! Amazing!!@ they came through with the patch so I can use android auto, this is a five star seller for a very affordable product that I will purchase again for my other vehicle. Top notch care.
UPDATE: (UPDATED INFO PUT FIRST)
To amend what I have stated it appears that this will work without the added patch unless you need android auto , basic functionality still fantastic and doe the money I would actually order this again. It did arrive with some flaws or cracks in the back which do not appear to mess with functionality, basically I covered it with black electrical tape and since I will never see it it s absolutely fine. This comes with 2 remotes, a rearview camera and a decent little interface... so actually this is a good deal.. to top it off when I contacted the company the were genuinely trying to help. I have not gotten the patch nor will I even try to... unlike what I get for the money. And if you are doing a budget build like me this is perfect little double din deck I just bluetooth connect my phone and away I go!
