I wish I had gone with the taller version though bc the last foot of the 6 feet is a single stem for the star. However, I'm not complaining, it's a great tree. Base is sturdy and locks in place with eye bolts. No weird smell. Packaging came in perfect condition.

BeckyBecky: I really like this tree. It's 7.5 feet tall and it looks great. It's nice and full and round when all the branches are fluffed up. It came in box inside another box, which is good packaging. There were 3 main parts (top, middle, and bottom) and the stand. It came with 3 large screws to hold the tree to the stand. It's a little heavy but not too bad. It took me a couple hours to fluff up all the branches but it looks so full and nice it's worth it. It has no scent at all and not many needles fell off so really no mess. It also came with basic instructions but they're not really necessary, it's very easy to put together. Overall, I love it. It looks really great.

Jared A. Rowe: I got this tree on sale after Christmas last year because it was a great price, marked down considerably. I wanted a bigger tree, one that had some quality and, if possible, a touch of reality to it. Got both! I've read reviews of people buying artifical trees, putting them together, then complaining how skimpy they look. First spoiler: they don't come out of the box looking like they do in the picture! If you buy one, commit to the idea that it's going to look okay, or alright, or even great, depending on how patient you are and how much time you want to take for the intitial setup. There are NO instructions in the box, just a picture that's very deceiving, and a hilarious claim that it's a "fifteen minute setup" for one person. No, for one person, especially if you want "great", we're talking minimum of at LEAST three hours, probably more; I was at it off and on for two days. Once you start understanding the way the branches are all bound together, each section on its own hinged swing-down rod, it gets easier. There are multi tiers of branch sections, which looked daunting. But I got a giant rubber band--like 14" unstretched, I found a pack on Amazon. Starting with the bottom...

Steff: We upgraded to this from a 6' tree and it looks great in our living room. Awesome if you have high ceilings. Was easy to assemble myself. It did take a considerable amount of time to unsquish it out of the box but that's to be expected with any reusable tree. Would not recommend for small spaces, it's quite wide at the bottom.
