The GEARFLAG Trailer Boat Cover is a top-of-the-line cover for your 17-19 ft V-Hull Tri-Hull Runabouts Fishing Boat. Made from heavy-duty marine grade 600D polyester, this cover is designed to last for years. It features an adjustable side strap system and integrated buckle for easy fitting and trailering. Additionally, it features a sew-in elastic cord for a custom fit to different boat shapes. This cover is UV resistant and has been rated highly for overall satisfaction, compatibility, packaging, and closure type. Get the best boat cover and make sure your boat is protected!Luc Trépanier & Maren Mehnert: The cover is very good quality, thick polyester. But for a fishing boat, make sure to put some support underneath so the snow and rain fall off, and it does not get damaged on sharp corners. Super easy to install with clip-on straps, easier than the contour sheets on a bed!

Kimbo: A very good product which was easy to install. We will know over the winter how it holds up with our long cold winters. So far we liked it that it had ample amount to cover our boat properly. Will comment further after winter .

robogeltron: Excellent fit, highly water resistant, straps cinch down tight yet also release easily when needed. Outstanding value, just what I was looking for.

Carlos BenitoCarlos Benito:
I just installed this cover today on my aluminum Misty River. She's almost 15' long with a 6' beam and as you can see in the attached photos, the cover was plenty large. I was even able to cover the 25hp motor too. Straps are a tad long but better to be too long than too short. I made a bowed frame with strips of ⅜" plywood so that the cover is lifted in the center for water to run off and to support snow. The material seems tough and durable and well made although I'm not sure about trailering with this cover. I think it's more suited to just storage. That's all I need it for anyway. I sprayed the cover with a hose after it was installed and the water beaded off it like on a car that's been freshly waxed. So that's a good sign.
So we'll see how the cover survives a western NL winter. We live in an area with lots of snow, rain and wind during the winter so in 6 months I will do an update to this review to let y'all know how it held up. Hope this review helps. Cheers!

Jonathan Budd: I've had this cover for about a year and initially, it was awesome. It kept the boat very dry and fit quite well. After 11 months now, the cover has faded a fair bit from UV rays and has weakened due to UV degradation. It is no longer completely waterproof and has ripped at the point where the center post was installed due to UV degradation at a pressure point. It is a decent cover for the price however a year outside was all I was able to get.

John R.: My boat came with a fitted cover that is excellent. The downside of the fitted cover is that it is too cumbersome to use during the boating season. I keep the boat under a Shelterlogic garage and I needed a cover just to keep cats and debris out. This cover is excellent for that purpose. I drape the cover over the boat and do not set it up to be watertight. I will say that this cover is well crafted and of good quality lightweight material easy to use. To use the cover to keep rainwater out a pole and strap system would be needed.

JeffJeff: A very well-made cover. The fit was just as advertised. The sewn-on straps are sturdy and have excellent adjusters on them. I did find that there is some leakage where the cover sagged and filled with water. I recommend using some PVC pipe to form a 'backbone' to keep the cover from sagging and filling with water /snow. Also, use foam pipe insulation to cover sharp edges (windshield) to prolong the life of your cover.

Will: I would have given 5 stars but the ad is miss leading, this cover is NOT trailerable, it has a tag sewn into the hemline that states it is not trailerable. That being said, if you don't need a driveable cover this one seems well constructed and fits as well as any previous covers. I have a 30 year old runabout with sharp corners at the wind screen, but pool noodles fix that. Straps are double stitched and the buckles seem good quality, time and exposure to the elements will tell.

Mary C.: We have a 19 ft deep V fishing boat on a lift under a covered dock and wanted something to protect the boat for short term use. The factory cover that came with the boat was too heavy to manage for taking on and off frequently. Will use the heavy one for winter storage or trailering. This lighter cover works great for our needs and the size was surprisingly perfect. (Our boat measures 19 ft long and 101 in beam) The straps attach to the lift very easily so we can take it on and off without difficulty. The elastic around the edge seems to be good quality and will hopefully last.

Paul Kooren: The cover is definitely well sized to completely cover my boat. It is a 19', deep V-hull with a full windshield and a 90hp outboard. I ordered to 20-22 ft cover and it covers everything. Straps are nice and long to get good tightness on the cover. The covers seems durable, a Canadian winter will tell!
