HandyAndy: I broke the 1/4 -20 almost immediately. In retrospect I probably should have used my drill vs 1/4 hex shanked impact driver, and would had have more control of the speed. Contacted the company and they immediately sent out a replacement. Wasn't happy tap broke, but the company did stand behind their product.

Hovey Corbin: For applications where you have the clearance behind the item you are wanting to tap a hole in, this tool will be very handy as it not only tap-drills the proper sized hole, but it also taps the thread you want in that hole too in one operation without having to change tools. It will save lots of time when tapping holes in sheet metal without having to change from a tap-drill to a tap to make a threaded hole.
