hjl: It’s used in the kitchen where I don’t have enough plugs for my microwave, toaster, air fryer and electric kettle. I can only use one at a time in this old building, so it’s very useful to switch off the ones I’m not using, and then switch off the whole unit when I’m finished with everything.

Moonfish: The power bars and surge protectors I have in my home are quite old. I decided to replace them one at a time until they are all up to date. I absolutely love the individual controls on this one. I no longer have to shut the whole bar off or constantly unplug cords I am not currently using. The plugs are very well spaced for larger cords as well as facing to the side, not up and down, it leaves plenty of space for everything. I liked it so much that a few days later I ordered a second one.

Choosie: You can switch on/off each outlet separately and you can switch on/off all outlets simultaneously.
These options are difficult to find in a product with this low price point.
