lori wollney: after following the way, they say to measure they still were wrong when they came in had to redrill holes to fit but once we did that they look great just know the hole may not be in the right spot.

EJLOKEJLOK: I have a fan that because of the way it was installed it would have been a nightmare to replace. I also had a bird who loved this fan and chewed on the blades. It looked horrible. At first I was going to remove the blades and spray paint them, but then decided to see if I could find replacement blades. I found these blades and they worked great!
What I like: they are real wood and have a nice finish.
When purchasing the blades you do need to measure where you need the holes to match up so use your old blades to measure. My husband did need to make the holes a tad larger so an electric drill is handy. All in all these blades worked great for me.

jody oakes: I am a professional finisher. First off these blades are not for out side use. It is clear in the description of the blades.I bought these for a craft made fan that I have had for 20 years. the fan still works great but started getting a wobble. The fan came with unfinished oak blades that I stained and sprayed to match my moulding in my living room. When I took the fan down to paint my ceiling i noticed one of the blades had warped. This would not be that unusual in a 20 year old fan. It is important that all the fan blades on a fan are flat and have the same amount of finish on both sides. Any change in weight or size can effect the operation of a fan. As soon as I got these blades I knew they had a clear finish on them. I tested them with different solvents and found the finish got stickie with lacquer thinner. A sure sign of finish on the blades. I have sanded the blades lightly with 220 paper and wiped them down with thinner. I have stained them and will have to use a shader to match the old ones. this can be risky if I do not get the same amount of finish on each blade. With all the work I am going to have to do to fix these blades they still might have a wobble. I would not...

Kindle Customer: We ordered these replacement blades even though they weren't made for our fan because the blades we had on our porch were sagging from the dampness. We had to redrill the holes to fit but did OK by using the old blades as a pattern. They look good, now only hoping they can stand up to the moisture!!

Update: 4 months later the new fan blades are sagging too!! Not quite as much as the old ones, but still not working well. Does anyone have a good source for fan blades that won't warp????
