Food, Glorious Food!: I recently switched from Cascade platinum to Finish 0% because I have many silicone utensils and microwave covers and all of them started smelling and tasting (as I discovered when I taste tested from a silicone spoon) just like the Cascade Platinum pods. Yuck!

I was horrified when I realized it and checked every silicone item in my kitchen and yep, everything had that same nasty scent! I stir delicate sauces and eggs with those utensils and the utensils aren't cheap! Plus if I can smell it and taste it then there was chemical residue leaching into my food!

I kept the pods under the sink and everything under there smelled bad too. I actually had a bag of dog treats under there I had to throw out. I don't know if Cascade changed the chemicals they use but I hadn't noticed it being as bad as that before, but I will never go back!

I tried a number of different pods, natural and not so natural and many of them just didn't work, admittedly Cascade Platinum did a great (but stinky) job! I found that these Finish 0% were absolutely the best, and cleaned every bit as well as the Cascade Platinum and no nasty scent! Plus after a couple of washes my silicone items don't...

Tyler C: Love these finish dishwasher pods they remove caked on grime from our dishes we have left in the dishes washer for over 24 hours. Me and my wife swear by these and dont use any other dishwasher pod cause none cant compare to finish.

Amazon Customer: I don't like that the tablets are all individually wrapped - that is a lot of waste! The tablets themselves do a good job of cleaning the dishes and it's a good amount of them for the price.

Imgr8fulfor: There are detergent tablets from other brands that comes as is without having to remove the outer plastic layer to make it easier for users to just grab and load their dishwasher. This brand is also slightly more expensive than it's competitor and I don't see/feel that there is any difference in cleaning performance.
Though I got this slightly cheaper as an open-box product so not much complain there.

Brenda: Cleans well but they are individually packaged so some effort is needed to open and use them- plus there’s more plastic waste. They tend to crumble in the package as well so my hands often got soap powder on them

Tyler A.: The good news is that these do a pretty good job cleaning. I haven't really seen them struggle with anything, nor do I find any sort of noticeable difference between the next premium tabs, the Finish Max In 1.

However, there are a few downsides:
- They're individually wrapped in foil, which seems like a bit of a waste.
- They sometimes don't dissolve fully/drop out of the dispenser fully. It seems like a bigger problem with these tabs -- probably due to their density.
- You can usually find the 80 count Finish Quantum pacs, which tend to work better in my opinion, for the same price, which reduces the economical value of these.

Overall, they do a good job, and act as a solid backup to when I don't have any of the Quantum pacs.

Grahammoth: Will never use another dishwasher detergent!

There are so many great things to say about this product that where to start my review is the hardest part! There are no cons to this Dishwasher detergent so I will just go with a big ole list of pros!
PROS:

1. PRICE- As with 99% of Amazons home product, the prices are impossible to beat! I have not, and most likely, will not find a better price for this product. The shipping cost alone from another online retailer would be half the price. In my local area, the only Finish Detergent in a high volume I have been able to find are the liquid gel packs and I do not like those at all.

2. QUALITY- These Finish Detergents are individually wrapped and are the solid blocks of detergent. Other Finish detergent packs I have tried have not been wrapped and were the gel packs. I had problems any time I would purchase the gel packs with the packs sticking together, leaking, or not giving a consistent, reliable result after a heavy wash cycle. I love the quality optics of having each detergent individual sealed. To me, this presents a higher quality product that I would be willing to pay a little high price for (luckily I don't...

W. Blake: At my house we are cursed with terrible hard water, and as a result, all of our glasses and dishes look terrible all of the time. Some of our glasses we have even just had to throw out because they looked so disgusting. So we started doing some research on the best possible dishwasher solutions, and found two different articles, one claiming that citric acid was the best thing for cleaning the dishwasher itself, and another that listed power ball as the best detergent to get rid of streaks and white residue. Awesome. So we first got started by buying  Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) , and used that to rinse through the dishwasher maybe three different times. I opened up the lever at the bottom, and where it was once a bit funky looking, it was now really clean. The next test came from the powerball. We then took all of our glassware and ran it through with the powerball. Wow. Just…wow. It worked really well, and took almost all of the white residue and streaks off of the glasses.
