J. Shakes: There is a relatively large area at both ends of the flap where there is no adhesive. As a result, if you load the envelope with anything more than a single sheet of paper, the outward pressure of the contents makes the two corners of the flap stick up about 3 mm from the back of the envelope. I am concerned this will catch on another envelope or snag on the processing equipment at the post office, resulting in damage to the envelope or possibly lost mail. So I end up having to tape down each of these two corners, which is a waste of time.

Kris Jean: Honestly I was being lazy and really needed some envelopes. I didn't want to have to go to the store and buy them so ordered online. The price was cheaper, they are a little flimsy but they work great. An envelope is an envelope and they fit the letter perfectly. I like the press and seal on these more than having to lick them so I really liked these and will order again.

Grace: I like self-sealing envelopes to save me the hassle of using glue or tape so I thought this would be a great buy. Unfortunately, I got what I paid for. These envelopes are like something you would find in a 99cent store, it's so thin! I put my bill inside the envelope and you can read right through it. I am a frugal person, I don't expect fancy quality and I love great deals but these envelopes are not usable for me! I send a lot of checks and I know for a fact my envelopes will get ripped open if someone can see through them. Also, because it's so thin, it rips very easily.
You can already feel it's bad quality just by touching it. It feels like parchment paper. Whereas better quality envelopes feel like printing paper. I do not recommend this, it is better to go buy in person at a nearby store. Or order something that's not Mead brand.
