Meredith: I absolutely think these pens are so beautiful and they write very smoothly, however, the ink does not come out consistently. When I am writing, some of the letters will have a "spot" of heavier ink and it bleeds through onto the next page. This leaves blue "spots" on the next page.
Also, I went to change out the ink to a different brand, as I love this pen, but neither myself nor my husband could open it. My husband is a gym rat and could surely open something as simple as a pen, but nope.
I bought these pens to journal with and love the smoothness of how they write, but the ink comes out to thick at times, and I am unable to change it, so I will just use these for shopping list and quick messages.
They are beautiful though.
****To change out the ink, you just take the tip and pull straight out. It's that simple. There is no twisting required and it's not from the middle as the description describes. It still requires a bit of effort and maybe a rubber gripper, but otherwise simple to do.

Winter Fox: These are very cute. They write smoothly and the package includes refills. They're a little heavier than plastic stick pens, but they feel nice in the hand and the nib glides across the page easily without snagging or skipping.
