I'm a teacher and purchased these for my class with my own money. The backs started coming off from the battery openings right away and will not stay closed. Some of the screens don't show the numbers completely. Very poorly made, please don't waste your money.

Look, I expected cheap calculators to not have amazing quality, but these have a major flaw that makes them especially difficult to work with- the battery compartment won’t stay closed/on. It’s mostly due to the fact that the battery doesn’t seat solidly and will pop open the door. I’ve tried taping them shut which holds for awhile, but still seems to come off with use by middle school students (I bought these as backup for my students who forget calculators on test days). The calculating function works fine though and they have solar power to run on so they suffice.

So far they are what I expected, thicker and sturdier quality then I was thinking for the price. Battery is wrapped up inside, so you'll need to open the back and unwrap the battery. Havent had the chance to really use them yet but they are for work sites and estimates. Wanted something cheaper that works for basic calculations. If they get dropped or broken they are easy to replace.
