D: Replacement fan blades on covered porch fan easily. Look great. May not last a really long time because of outdoor humidity and heat variances in Texas but far superior to the factory blades. Nice to have clean, straight blades instead of the old, droopy ones. I'd recommend as they look darned good to date.

Dennis T.: I wanted to increase my 42 inch fan blades to 52 inch, hopefully that will improve the circulation of air in my office.
It would be very unrealistic to expect the pre-drilled holes to fit your existing fan's arms and if they are not, that is a very easy modification for any DIY with a drill and a 1/4 inch drill bit.
Just keep the whole new set of fan blades in the original wrapper -- don't unwrap them; uninstall one blade from the existing fan and clamp it tightly on top of the new set of blades (still in wrapper) with the center hole lined up; I put a nut and bolt through the holes to keep them lined up. Then just drill two additional holes using the existing holes as guides through the five new blades. The new holes should match the existing fan arms perfectly. It would be a five minute operation altogether.

Susanne Dwyer: I had to take a moment to say how happy I am that these fit my 10-year-old Monte Carlo (5HS52XXD-L Series) ceiling fan! I've been researching replacement blades for months, and wasn't certain if these would fit, but they are perfect and you can't beat the price! I'm ordering a back-up set because, I know, in time, these will probably start drooping like the original ones did (ceiling fan is on my breezeway, so it susceptible to moisture). But this sure beats buying a new ceiling fan. THANK YOU!!

Footsie: I was very happy to find the exact replacement blades for my fans. They were easy to install. My fans have been on a screened in porch for over 20 years. When they recently de-lamanated I was concerned that it would be impossible to replace the blades. Only problem is with in 2 days they began to bend downward. While they may be great for inside fans, I don't recommend using them outside. I did not check to see if they were for inside only before I bought them. Still a good deal..

HW: I ordered these for $8 with free shipping on 9/23 and they arrived on 9/25. As long as the holes line up and you have a tall ladder (and you don't have vertigo), this is a super easy project. I don't know what kind of ceiling fan I have, but these blades lined up just right. Took me less than an hour to replace all the old blades; I couldn't believe how easy it was! I am a 5'4.5" female, and luckily we own an 8 foot ladder, as I would not have been able to do this DIY project without it. The screws were on top of the fan blades, so I just unscrewed all the old fan blades with a mini screwdriver (easier to handle than a regular sized one, especially while standing on a tall ladder) and then screwed in all the new ones. I made sure they were tight because I was a little scared of turning on the fan and having a blade fly off and whirl towards my face! The blades look and feel like good quality blades. I really liked the color (aged bronze) but after I attached the blades, they looked a lot darker than I thought they would; they looked almost black, which doesn't really go with my decor. But I only paid $8 with free (and fast) shipping, and they were easy to install, so if I decide...
