PastorRolandPastorRoland: These little 4 inch shelf speakers are much MORE than I imagined. They have awesome power and great sound quality. Since I bought the Pyle amplifier a few weeks earlier, I thought I would try the speakers. I have NOT been disappointed. Awesome speakers and awesome price. Perfect for my office!

Larry Jahsman: I needed small speakers so it worked ok but the sound quality is just ok I had no choice.

Tommy: I bought the slightly larger version with a 4" full-range woofer rather than the 3". I'm using them as surround channels for a 5.1 setup. They were essentially a little Christmas gift to myself. On a whim I decided to find something basic and affordable (under $50) to add that surround sound dimensionality to my home theater setup. After looking at the handful of options available (I could only find about 10) I felt like this would probably be the best bang for my buck.
I can't compare them to other small speakers like the Micca Covo because I haven't auditioned those, but I can say these are basically a "you get what you pay for" situation. At $37/pair as of this writing (with a "used - like new" option available for $23) it's pretty hard to be disappointed with them as long as they work, and they do. They are pretty lacking in bass (but there's a hint of it), and due to the lack of a tweeter, they don't have the same clarity or resolution of my front channel Wharfedale 225's. That said, those are $350/pair so these lil' guys were literally a tenth of the price. Wharfedale would have a problem on their hands (as would every speaker manufacturer) if these kept up with...

N. Barnfield: Quite surprised at these little speakers.
I am on a very tight senior citizen budget so had little choice.
I wanted to use them as "Presence speakers" on my Yamaha AV. After some fiddling and jockeying for position, I have an odd shaped room, they seem to be doing a sterling job.
For something so small they produce quite good sound, certainly for my purpose.
Not quite sure about the retractable mounting bracket but I used some small wall mounts and adhesive pads.

Phil: These little speakers certainly pack a punch, I have them set up as the 3rd and 4th speakers on my stereo.
The sound quality is good and the base comes through with some oomph, the first time I switched the surround sound on I was very pleased.
Well worth the money and I would recommend them to anyone.

Howard Thomas: these speakers are ideal for either small rooms or as surround sound speakers or as in my case places above floorstanding speakes to effectively double the db at the same level on volume control when used with horns and tweeters as well it means the volume can be kept down with the room still rocking at low level which is what i do.
Absolutely excellent speakers and would highly recommend!! Five stars. N.B. If used on their own in a large room
this effect would not work.

Gordon: I was looking for some reasonably compact speakers to use with my laptop; something to give better sound than the built-in speakers, but that didn't take up significant desk space. I already had a Behringer UMC204HD that I was using for headphone output, so bought these speakers together with a Fosi Audio BT20C mini amplifier.
Overall sound quality is decent for the size of the speakers -- you don't expect earth-shattering bass from a pair of 4-inch speakers that cost £30. Clearly, these don't compete with larger speakers for low-end and won't be as detailed at the high-end as something with dedicated tweeters. They meet my goals: the sound is significantly better than my laptop's speakers, they didn't cost much, and they just squeeze under my displays.
I should note that very strong low-frequency signals do generate an odd noise from these speakers. I've never noticed it in normal use, but passing a pure, loud 100Hz tone or using an online white-noise speaker phase test at relatively high volume results in a sort of 'loose' flapping/crackling sound. I think this is just due to trying to drive the speakers too hard outside of their rated frequecy range, but...

NickyB: Bought for my dad as a REALLY simple means of good sound from his TV.
Who needs an expensive and ugly Soundbar? Or messy 5.1 surround sound and all of them cables just for a telly?
Well, I bought these for my dad, and a simple converter box from a company called FiiO: FiiO D07 TV Digital to Analog Decoder
which along with an Optical cable from the telly into my dads old HiFi amp, allows all this to work with minimum of fuss, giving him clear sound of the speech from his telly.
Sure, they're not top HiFi, but they work well for this.

tyler shearertyler shearer: Speakers have decent sound for their size, but after 1 day of use the center piece has fallen off. (6 hours of local radio station, low bass setting)
