Retired Life: I am happy with this product. It is well made and the metal was sturdy enough to be welded on. It was a special use where welding was the only option and it passed the test. Greater it was not intended to be used in this fashion, it does show the quality of the metal used. Most would have melted instantly. I would recommend this product.

Taosmax: I originally bought these for the clamshell on my teardrop trailer. They're too lightweight for that application, and they are difficult to keep latched. However, they do a good job of keeping cabinet doors and drawers closed in the galley of my little camping trailer. I'd buy them again for the right application.

Gracie: These worked very well for my use. Needed to tightly close an outdoor storage room door that was warped and would not fit snug with common latches that I tried. Before buying, I was concerned that if my installation was too loose, a single rotation of the threaded shaft latch would then be too tight; but, the threads on the shaft are fine enough that I can adjust 3 to 4 additional turns after snug - to give me a tight door.
