Knobby: The table looks just like the pictures. Until you get close to it/touch it, you may think it's a wood table. But the material is a man-made product. My husband said it seemed like formica (it's not; formica would be a step up from this) and my adult son said it seemed like they had taken a picture of wood and glued it to the top of something. It visually has a wood grain, but is smooth and definitely some kind of fake product. Having said all of this, I still gave it a 4 rating because it is as I expected. For the price, I got what I paid for. I am considering painting the top and shelf. I think that will help me like it better. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and am hoping it holds up for a year or two. Then I'll bite the bullet and spend more $$ on a real wood table.

Joshua and HannahJoshua and Hannah: This is a beautiful piece of furniture. As you can see the space is small so I don’t want anything over powering the area. This is the perfect size. Also assembly was so easy. I have never put anything together in my life. However this was four steps. Would buy again. Very happy with my purchase!

PlaidMama: I really love this coffee table. It’s a great size and feels pretty sturdy. When it arrived however there were several chips in the “wood”. They’re small enough that I can ignore them but any bigger and I wouldn’t have been happy (not that I am currently happy with the chips haha). Overall a decent table but not quite worth the money if it’s going to be damaged. I have a baby so having a coffee table with no sharp corners is more important right now than having a flawless table.
