HH: The material is really nice and easy to work with. The diameter is consistent throughout and it is a softer/less stiff rope material than I've used in the past. There is a strong petroleum mixed with barn smell that's mentioned in other reviews as well, but I'm only using it for packaging purposes so the odor didn't bother me.
