Melissa: This bug zapper works really well for small flying insects like gnats, fruit flies, and small mosquitos, but anything of the regular size like a housefly it really does not work on.
Setting it in an area that is darker and turning the light on it does attract the bugs!
The battery charge does not stay charged for very long and it needs to be plugged in often.
**If taken to an area that has many bugs it snaps and crackles very loudly, so if you have pets or people who are sensitive to these types of sounds, please be warned. We have a cat that loses it every time this thing pops while getting a bug and if there are many bugs, it's like fireworks and the poor kitty scatters.**
One last thing, the stand is not very stable.
Other than the few quirks it does work well!

Myra Rogers: I have these set up in my kitchen closet to my utility room. When bugs come in the back door at night, they are immediately attracted to the blue light and are zapped. I love hearing the random zapping sound and knowing another bug has bitten the dust. My dogs and cats are not as happy as I am as the sound seems to remind them of a shock collar even though only 2 of them have ever worn a shock collar and they only got the vibration mode. So all in all 5 star experience for me, 2 for the pets, 0 for the bugs.

Dr. Wilson: I used this onboard my boat. Somehow we had some mosquitos get onboard and while I was trying to go to sleep, I’d hear them in my ear. Well I turned on this little light and “POP” was the sweet sound that I heard every couple of seconds letting me know that the little annoying vampires were meeting mosquito hell! This thing works wonders on spiders of all sizes as well. The night light really does a great job attracting bugs to it. I loved it so much I ordered a second….and third one because one of my friends at the marina just had to have one!

Francisco Antillon: El producto es bueno y con buen diseño comparado con otras opciones, sobre todo si quieres algo que se vea de mejor calidad. Lo cual se refleja en el precio. Desgraciadamente el switch de encendido tiene un problema y se atora al tratar de llevarlo a la opción de operación continua (#3).
Como no es una opción que vaya a usar muy seguido no pienso entrar en el problema de reclamar, regresarlo etc. Pero tampoco puedo decir que justifica la calidad que cobra y presume.
