A. Tru Delight: I've tried them all -- with AA batteries, with D Batteries, and even rechargeable with a mini USB. Incidentally, the last was THE WORST, 'cuz while not having to buy batteries SOUNDED like a good idea, it had to be charged several times a day, while with all the battery operated models, the batteries lasted at least a week. With this swatter, a pair of AAs lasted a full 2 weeks, with constant use. With the rechargeable model, the charging port wore-out in 2 weeks, leaving me with a worthless chunk of plastic with metal screens.
What really sets this electric fly-swatter apart from ALL the others is the design. First the swatting surface is at least half an inch, both longer and wider than all the others. The benefit of this is obvious.
Furthermore, the handle is shorter and sturdier than any other I've tried. This gives the user more control and stability, thus better aim. I have the distinct feeling that with time, the handle won't break, like so many others. The handle, itself, is rounded, with smooth edges, which makes it comfortable to hold, unlike the almost sharp, square edges of most others.
