Julie: Stickers are easy to use and work great. You can write on with a ballpoint pen or marker. I have used them as gift tags and to seal envelopes.

Old T.: They stick to my containers.
Sharpie Markers write on them just fine.
Fountain Pens, (with Noodler's ink) too, tho you MAY have to blot, depending on how fast drying the ink is. I had to blot the Noodlers Qin Shai Haung/1st Emperor ink.
(that pen writes wet.)
NOTE:
If you don't have a proper blotter, a wad of paper towl or a tissue, or TP will work, so long as you DON'T slid/rub it over the wet ink.

Little Breeze: I bought these to use in school books so I wouldn't have to write my name in the book. I also draw around the label, so in case of theft, I'll know it's my book. They are very versatile little labels, so I'm sure I'll find other creative ways to use them.
