Geoff: I'll be honest, it's tough to rate the effectiveness of acoustic products - is it working or are the neighbors just quieter lately? Regardless, it's easy to apply (I don't understand all the reviews saying they couldn't get it to come out of the tube - I had no issues) and clean up. My only complaint is the blurb about 50 linear feet is incredibly misleading. If you're using this to fill in the space between your drywall and your subfloor, which I imagine is 90% of why people buy this product, expect to get about 3-5 feet out of each tube. I ran out when I had contractors putting up a wall and my contractors ended up filling the rest of the gap with drywall mud, which wasn't ideal.

Amazon Customer: We used this chalk to attach a plastic liner to the concrete wall in a crawl space of a house. It worked great!!!

Anne Chamberlain: Caulk worked great! make sure you purchase an appropriate caulking gun though. Got mine at Lowe’s. Also both of my tubes did NOT come with a free wipe but luckily I had some rags that I could use but don’t count on the wipe.

Cin: I used this to fill gaps under the baseboard in my apartment to try to reduce the sound and vibrations coming from my neighbors below.
It's hard to tell if it's made any difference. I think that it has helped some, but since I wasn't able to use it directly under the bottom of the drywall I knew not to expect miracles.
To get it as far back as I could and into narrow gaps, I put some in a thick ziplock bag & cut one corner & shovel that under the baseboard & was able to fill more of the cavity by squeezing the bag my hand. It reminded me of piping icing on a cake.
The price was higher than I wanted to pay for something that I wasn't sure was going to do anything, but fingers crossed it was worth it.

Dino Zanon: I bought 2 tubes for a green glue premium brand product. What I thought was supposed to be green came as a white mastic. The plastic moveable end that squeezes the glue out wasn’t in the tube properly. The label on wrapping also said it was made by someone else. I found this most peculiar given the tubes were “green glue” but differed from one another. Weird.
