Anonymous: Intelligent packaging. Slim and elegant. Easy to set up. Hard to fit fatter bottles. Works great for Bordeaux types of bottles. To fit wider bottles, I had to put a skinny bottle and a fat bottle oriented in opposite directions. Can’t fit two bottles of Champagne on the bottom rack. The displayed temp seems reliable. Since it is sitting in my garage, I can’t tell if it runs often. Does not seem loud.

Bob: We bought a very expensive Thor dual zone French door wine cooler for our remodeled kitchen and it did not last for 3 years before the compressor conked out. It was also quite loud when it ran and produced a lot of heat while mounted under the counter. After it quit we researched a lot of different options and could not find a French door model that we liked other than a Thor. After evaluating the space in out kitchen for the 2 doors compared to 1 door to open we decided to purchase this unit with a single door because the reviews said it was very quiet and even though there is only 1 door there still are 2 different zones. This unit is so quiet we sometimes wonder if it is still working and even though it is mounted in the same place as the Thor there is significantly less heat produced from the compressor and it does not run nearly as often. This unit is about $800 less and looks like it will last for years to come.

Mark GMark G: Was looking for an attractive unit for a specific place, this one has the right dimensions. It's placed in our dining room next to a buffet. Looks right. Instructions say to setup and allow 24 hours before plugging in, which I did, and now it has been running for three days, half full. First, I set the temperature at 58F for the three days and, just now, with my infrared temperature gun the temperature of the bottles are all 62F. Also, it seems to cycle on and off a lot. This afternoon it is on for about 90 seconds then off about seven minutes. The compressor shudders a little when it turns off. Noise level is acceptable. The ambient temperature in my home now is 76F. This may all be normal but I would like some reassurance. Otherwise, just exactly what we need.

Charles Pascual: Replacing a wine cooler that failed after 8 years - vendor of the brand we owned projected a ship date of a new/replacement cooler of no earlier than 6-9 weeks. This vendor/brand, Staigis, had good reviews on Amazon, good price, and would ship immediately. Product arrived within days, the Amazon delivery guys brought it into my kitchen, it came well-packed yet was easy to unpack. The door swings the way I want (hinges on right) so there was no set up required (they do include left-side hinges). Dimensions were as advertised - it slid easily into the cabinet space occupied by our old cooler. I let it sit 24 hours as recommended then ran it another 24 hours before loading it. Came to the operating temp I set quickly and also returned to operating temp within a short time after loading it. Easy to set the temperatures, runs quietly, and looks good in our kitchen. The uppermost shelf is large enough to accommodate champagne bottles. The lower zone, "red wine" shelves easily accommodate larger-diameter burgundy wine bottles. Overall, I find it accommodates various (and larger) size bottles better than the cooler I replaced. Others have commented about the brightness...
