Nicola Vernieri: Le rifiniture sono di ottima qualità, i legni usati fanno di questo strumento un Ukulele bello a vedersi e da una gradevole sonorità, .la lunghezza , è un Ukulele Concerto, con cassa e tasti più ampi e comodi da utilizzare, rispetto sd un Ukulele soprano. Le meccaniche funzionano bene restituendo una accordatura più che soddisfacente. Le corde montare, una garanzia, sono Aquila di primissima qualità. Gli accessori sono di livello medio superiore, a partire dalla custodia imbottita, che lo protegge dai danni ed urti più frequenti. Utile l'accordatore elettronico e la tracolla dal bel design e colorazione. Ho trovato meno utili i plettri, per altro ideati per chitarra ed un anonimo set di corde di riserva, di cui si ignorano marca e caratteristiche tecniche. Complessivamente un buon acquisto, specie per chi vuol ben iniziare lo studio di questo strumento. UN CONSIGLIO non fatevelo scappare acquistatelo. .

Sandi Ferguson: I wanted to learn something new and do something other than scroll tiktok. I’ve wanted to play the ukulele for years since it seemed more doable that a regular guitar for starters. This is an excellent bargain! It helps neuroplasticity and is a challenge. I’ve never formally had music lessons, although I dabble on the piano. I ordered blue, but got the green one, which was ok. Still like it. It comes with a tuner, which I learned to use, a nice case, picks, strings and a strap. I’ve been watching YouTube videos, and will start viewing Donner videos. The instrument itself is good quality, sounds good and is comfortable in my hands. Musician friends at work were impressed with the quality/value. I’m definitely glad I purchased this! I keep it out and play it multiple times during the day. As with all instruments, however, don’t keep it in a hot car. I definitely recommend!!

eddy: I love this ukulele for £55 it's a bargain I didn't see it up or anything pulled jt straight out of the box tuned it and played it also came with a little chord chart. One little side note the string that come pre-installed are aquila but the spare set kf string are just donner own brand strjng

Rusty's Muzak: I didn't know what make or size ukulele to get so I decided on a Concert. With stubby finger's I thought this best but upon reflection maybe a wide neck Concert or a Tenor fitted with GCEA strings would have been better in the early stages of learning. Having said that I seem to be coping now. As for the Ukulele, it looks better than the pictures, the feel in your hand is nice too. The quality of the construction is 8/10 as the fret board is very very slightly out of alignment and the sound hole slightly off centre. I've noticed these but the rest of my family hasn't. It's value for money as a beginner so it fits the requirements.

ben rector: ok how about i rate the things that matter the most:

intonation: 4/5
the intonation is perfectly fine if you are playing regular chords. if you go beyond the 7th fret you start to notice a little bit of dissonance and beyond 12th fret it doesnt sound very good.

tuning/strings: 5/5
as good at staying in tune as my classical guitars. i see a lot of reviews for nylon stringed instruments complaining that they won't stay in tune. this is usually misleading. it can take a few days for nylon strings to stretch out enough to hold tuning, and this is in addition to a little bit of manual stretching and persistent playing and tuning. i waited a few days to write a review precisely because of this. this ukelele holds tune very well. the tuners seem to be good quality (but im no expert on that) and the bridge and nut are good quality and dont snag the strings too much. 4 days into playing i can set the uke down for a few hours and come back and it's still in tune (well, good enough to fiddle around on anyway)

action: 5/5
just about perfect. it remains to be seen if the neck or body warp and ruin the action, but that's how it goes with things made of...

weebiscuit: I've been wanting a ukulele all winter. I'm a 67 year old lady who has played guitar for a few decades. Totally self-taught, and strictly a chord strummer. I'd put off ordering a ukulele, but a week ago, when I asked my daughter in law what I should get my soon-to-be granddaughter for her birthday, she said, "She's been wanting a ukule for so long!" So, I took the plunge, and last week I ordered TWO of these Donner Concert Ukeleles... one for my granddaughter and one for myself.

My granddaughter has never had any formal training on musical instruments. A few years ago I taught her a couple of chords on the guitar but that's it. When I gave her the uke I had printed out the chords to a few popular songs I knew she liked and showed her the basics. 24 hours later she came up to my house and I was stunned at how well she was playing these songs! I, too, found it quite easy to learn to play the thing, although it took my brain a bit longer to "re-learn" how to play chords on the uke as they were totally different than the guitar. But she and I were playing duets!

Our 37 year old daughter was visiting today. She wanted me to play a song on the uke. I did, and she wanted to...
