SHELLY BYKOWICZ: I had purchased some daily silverware a few years ago and it had these plastic handles in different colors. I got a set that matched my kitchen. Not smart. The plastic slowly started to break on them over time. I was looking for just a simple but sturdy flatware and this was perfect. It doesn't have any fancy ridges or designs just simple but it is very pretty and functional. Cleans up great by hand or dishwasher. I may even get another set to be sure I have plenty for company.
