2" Wide 10 Yard Roll of Heavy Duty Black Nylon Webbing Strap

NV: I wanted to make an adjustable strap with this. It feels more like seat belt material and is too slippery to use webbing sliders with. Not heavy feeling at all, although tensile strength may be ok.

Linda W: Great product! I used creatively to secure a cushion to a saddle rack so that the saddle rack wouldn't cause indentions in the underside of my saddle. Used in tandem with snap-together buckles, this worked well.

Kalvin: This item is described as heavy duty, it is FAR from heavy duty. The material is very thin and to smooth like silk for it to be heavy duty, this isn't heavy webbing heavy webbing is thicker like a seatbelt not thin and a little rough so it can be locked with a fastener not smooth like a ribbon as this stuff is… Not as advertised by any means at all!!! DO NOT BUY

BaldwiniteBaldwinite: We have a nice oak and leather rocking chair in our living room. After years of use and 2 moves, the back panel became insecure - If you put your full weight on it while rocking, it would fall out.

We learned from upholstery YouTube videos that professionals use upholstery webbing like this to reinforce chairs. We figured that we could refinish the back panel of the rocking chair at home with webbing and a staple gun (pictured).

How we refinished the chair:
1. removed old staples holding the back panel (leather front, foam, board, leather back) to the frame
2. measured length of back frame; cut webbing strips to measure with 4in excess, burned ends to prevent from fraying
3. stapled webbing strips onto bottom of back frame, 3 staples on each strip end
4. placed leather, foam, back board in frame; tightly pulled webbing strip up to the top of the back frame & stapled in place (pictured)
5. stapled webbing strips onto the left side of the back frame; weaved strips together (pictured)
6. tightly pulled webbing strips to the right side of the back frame & stapled in place
7. stapled leather back piece onto back frame

Washburn: Wasn’t the “rigid” webbing that I was looking for that came with my shoulder bag, but it would definitely be a more comfortable shoulder strap, if I were to replace the one on my bag. I used it as a “reinforcing top edge for my home-made curtains. It’s dexterity allowed me to fold it in half and sew it along the top edge of my curtains. It looks great with a slight shimmer of gloss and is durable too. Not “military-grade”, but plenty tough enough for most projects.

M B.: This webbing has great strength for how thin it is. I made an extension for my climbing harness with it and wanted to test how much weight it can hold before tearing. I hooked one end around a tree and the other to the hitch on my Silverado truck. I was able to spin my tires without hurting the webbing or the stiching that I put in it (I used heavy duty blended thread). I have no doubt that my harness extensions will be able to hold well over my body weight even with a small fall.

However, I had to return the product because after making the extension mentioned above I went to make a new extension and noticed a .25inch wide by 4inch frey in the webbing. Then, there were smaller freys every few feet throughout my webbing. There must have been a problem with the machine that was stitching it. I'm sure the webbing was still very strong even with the frey but I could not chance using it for making harnesses.

I will most likely be ordering more of this webbing hoping that the next roll will not have any freys.
