2-Piece Pet Pill Dispenser for Small Cats and Dogs

Laura Jane Ravenscraft: Got this to help administer medication for my cats. Works great! There are two different size tips for different size pills. Would have never been able to administer the medication to my cat by hand. Wish I bought this set few years ago.

I imagine you could lube the rubber plunger with a bit of water to keep it from tearing and wear.

I put a bit of water on the dispenser tip in order to get the clear silicone pill holders on all the way.

Alexandra: Pill doesn’t fit, so you beak it, and then it’s too small. So I ended up having to put the pill in his mouth with my hand. Waste of money.

Donald M.: Fortunately, I only needed these for a short while, but in that time, the rubber, or silicone wears out and starts to tear. It is very convenient to put a little water in the one you can do that with. It helps your pet swallow the pill.

RebeccaRebecca: The media could not be loaded.  The silicone tips are too big to hold the pills I'm supposed to give my cat. The one for pills has slits on either side to accommodate the pill, but my pill doesn't even reach the walls of it. If I turn the pill sideways, it holds in the slits, but then it can't shoot out cleanly (it remains clinging to the side). What I ultimately got to work was to use the tip for liquid instead (which doesn't have slits), and put my pill in there. It holds it just enough that I can get it into her mouth and push it out. I'm happy to say that I successfully administered my very first pill to my cat this morning! So I guess if you're willing to make do, this thing works!

Hannah: Not great quality and hard to use. Tablets fall out and the syringe is not well made. Not enough ‘push’ to post tablets into the back of the cats throat .
Much better quality out there. I got one from the vet in the end

Kindle Customer: I had to give my 2 cats a pill and it had to be administered at back of their throat. They were not having it and I got bitten badly when I administered with my hand. The dispenser was a lifesaver. I was afraid they would fight the dispenser like they did my hand. Instead, it went smoothly. The silicone covering is probably gentle to their throat unlike stiff plastic . I was also afraid that the nozzle wouldn't accommodate these relatively large pills, but it did. The silicone nozzle is flexible for any size pill. The plunger worked fine and didn't stick. I was so glad for this tool. It did not break after numerous administrations, so for the price it seems like a good thing to have! My cats are no longer avoiding me.

L. Warren: Absolutely useless for round tablets, only suitable for small capsule type tablets, the silicone end has no grip to it at all.
