Amazon Customer: It tasted like flavored water. Very bland and it also required refrigeration after opening. Regular sugar free maple syrup is much thicker and can be stored at room temperature, but with this brand you are forced to pour cold refrigerated syrup on your warm pancakes, which cools them down fast.

Also, the containers are made of glass instead of plastic, so they'll break if dropped on your hard kitchen floor. And being watery it doesn't last long. I ended up pouring it out. Bottom line: waste of money and will never buy again!

kenmtb: I don't think it is fair to compare sugar free products to sugar products as they will always have some kind of "funny" taste. In this case, there is enough strawberry taste in the formula to work. Personally, the strawberry taste is about half as strong as something like Smuckers. The consistency is more runny and the coloring is not as strong.

To get the same effect, I would have to use a lot more of this product.

The bottom line is I have not found a better sugar free strawberry syrup, hence the number of stars.

G. Porath: Not a fake strawberry flavor. As a result it's not as strong as, say, strawberry quik. It's really good though.
