mls: Italian dried pasta is superior, including the Italian Barilla, De Cecco, and Trader Joe's, but this is the best of the domestically made pastas. I use at least ten of their shapes. Orzo is terrific for chilled summer dishes (think Feta and garden veggies) and for pesto.

Kathleen E.: This is just what I expected. Plus its much cheaper buying in bulk then individual boxes at the grocery store. its got great flavor and texture. I keep the unopened boxes in the deep freeze (put a box in a ziplock in case something unforseen happens), and it will keep for ages until I get through it all.
