AJ: I don’t like to use clay litter and this is a great alternative! It never smells bad and actually has a nice natural scent. I love that it doesn’t end up all over the floor like traditional clay litter and if a few pieces do end up on the floor they are east to pick up and don’t embed themselves in to the carpet.

Thera99: Our foster kittens ate the litter we were given at the shelter and so I tried this litter and was so happy. The pieces are big enough that the kittens weren't tempted to nibble and the pieces dissolved into a powder as soon as they became wet. Honestly, the kittens liked walking on it more once there was little of the dust, I guess because it was softer. No smells and super easy to clean up.

X: Our cat hates us. The cat loves nothing more than to fling poop-y poop flakes all over the floor after they get done. Every night I wake up furious because I know the cat will, once again, fling poop flakes everywhere.
Pine does help. It smells better. It's way less mess. If your cat hates you and flings poop-y flakes, nothing will ever change that. Get use to it, like we have, but if you're looking for a good alternative to regular cat litter, I recommend this.

Linden G: This litter is marketed for cats, but I used it as a house training aid for a new puppy.
The litter is easy to use, has less dust than I expected, and works very well. The bag size was also easy to handle.
I have never used a litter pan for a dog or puppy before. The breeder started placing the pan of pine pellets in the enclosure with the growing litter, and they learned quickly to use it.
The litter seems to absorb the liquid without producing an unpleasant odor. I was able to scoop to save litter. Solid waste must be removed ASAP.
I would have given this litter 5 stars except that you can get this product for pennies on the dollar at a feed store, where it is often sold as floor covering for stock enclosures.
