The All-Seeing IThe All-Seeing I: Lombardi's refined Avocado Oil provides wonderfully economical access to a small ocean of avocado oil (2 x 33.8 fl oz) at a price point approaching best-in-class. What that buys you is the ability to cook with an oil offering a heightened smoke point of up to 520°F, whereas olive oil comes in at a less forgiving 410°F (I cook tons of things at 410°F or above, but few over 520°F, so avocado oil is a no-brainer).

That said, if you want deep green, unrefined oil loaded with avocado flavor, this isn't that. It pours a pallid green and is nearly tasteless, which can be an asset or deal-killer depending on your needs. It does retain avocado oil's paradoxical lightness and richness, and its unmistakably buttery mouthfeel. It's an elite cooking oil, while on salads, I prefer an unrefined, green-as-grass, flavor-rich avocado oil like  Avohass Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

An annoyance is the towering bottle height, which my cupboards don't accommodate. But the great value and low price point make me look the other way on that. Fat from a tree is one of nature's great gifts, and this is a go-to cooking oil. - (Was this of use? If so,...

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love, love, love, the Lombardi brand...
It's very light...the bottle is not only beautiful in shape and function (the spout
allows just enough oil to pour through w/o saturating whatever it's being used for)...but the
taste itself, is truly unparalleled...I've used other brands of Avo oil but there's no comparison IMHO...If
you're contemplating this purchase, buy w/o reservation. It's brAVO Magnifico!

It is extra virgin, unrefined, and cold pressed. I use this oil for cooking, and I noticed that it didn't burn or smoke with high heat, so it doesn't affect the taste of my food.
