on the lookout: I tried opening the car door with the key fob in the sleeve and the fob was not acknowledged. Only a small issue...I have house keys on the fob and they do not fit easily into the sleeve.

Serious Work: Certainly did the job but a pain to use. The fob car key goes into the case and works … but when you want to drive the car or lock it you have to take it out separately. When you put other keys on it the whole thing is pretty big and heavy. Glad it had two cases so both of us can use it.

JRed: I use it to store my car key fob in my car, and use the app to lock/unlock. No bulky fob in pocket, no unintended buttons on the fob pushed when I my pockets. Blocks fob signal completely.

Justin T. Eilar: Works great for our needs. Wife's car keys seem to be shorting, and would cause doors to open or the alarm to blare just from shaking the remote start. Place the phob in this and it seems to completely block all the signals. Just make sure you have the flap not just velcro-ed, but pushed flat so there is no chance of the signal escaping.

Soloviajero: I bought this together with another brand, nearly equal in every way to this one, including price, the only difference being the large metal swivel clip at the top. I didn't understand the point of the swivel clip outside until I gave one of these to a friend who carries a large lump of ordinary door keys attached to his key fob. I carry just the fob and no door keys, so the swivel clip is just extra bulk and of no use to me. The Faraday envelope just fits the key fob, not a fob with with keys attached. You could easily contrive to carry the fob inside the envelope and the keys dangling outside, still connected, but it seems to me that the purpose of the swivel clip is to separate the lump of keys from the fob, and to keep the fob inside the envelope and the lump of keys clipped to the swivel outside. If you don't carry a lump of door keys, you might find a model without the swivel more to your liking. Otherwise, this is a well-made product.
