Key West: Soft, just thick enough to provide padding in hiking shoes but not so much as to be bulky. Very warm. Highly recommend.

CheesyMac: These socks fit, are cushy, and very nice looking. They may hold up well and keep your feet warm in conditions closer to the freezing mark, but unfortunately, during my first time skiing, it was 1° outside and I was extremely worried about how cold and painful my toes felt in my ski boots after a half an hour of instruction outside. I had to go in to warm up my tootsies and add heated foot warmers to my boots. I even had a 2nd pair of regular socks on to boot! Again, may be fine for others and other weather conditions, but my step daughter and I were suffering after a short amount of time.
