Daniel G.: Pas cher mais confortable, bonne taille pour mes mains. Pas aussi protecteur de chaleur que j'aurais voulu mais pour le prix aucun regret.

Jac: These gloves are comfortable and are long enough to protect hands and arms when tending to your fireplace. I recommend these, they’re great.

matt: Bought these for wood stove use, they are ok but I would rate them lighter duty than harbor freights offerings. Haven’t got burnt but they are definitely not as protective as I would have liked. For the price it’s ok.

Quantumv: great protection for my arms, as I use to get arm burns from the wood stove.
These gloves protect me from slivers as well and keep my hands from drying out by the wood.
The gloves are one size fits all, and I usually wear a small glove but they stay on, no issues

Sarah L: I have used them with my fireplace moving logs around inside and placing new logs on the fire. These hold up way better than the pairs I have previously purchased at my local home improvement store.
First of all the fact that they are all leather on the outside and hit just below elbow protects my hands and arms while also holding up to the heat. Previous inexpensive gloves I purchased had fabric on the back of the hands which always ended up getting singed and burnt through from tiny embers and the tips of the fingers always ended up coming apart after a few weeks.
Inner lined is a random print cotton but it does the job and keeps my hands from getting too hot.
These gloves have been holding up after a few months regular use and if they even did have any issues I would definitely purchase another pair.

John Graham: I'm not sure how well these would work as welding gloves, as they're fairly thin and not the highest quality, but they work EXCELLENTLY for the reason I bought them: cooking and jam making. If you've never made preserves before, you've probably never been burned by the molten fire of boiling apple butter. That stuff gets everywhere, especially when one's pot could handle being a little taller for the job. And it sits, it doesn't just roll off like boiling water. That molten sugary mass sits where it lands, and burns your tender flesh until you get it off. I have the burn scars to prove it. Anyway, one painfully blistering burn was enough to make me look for better hand protection than the extremely clumsy quilted or silicone oven mitts. I needed something that covered more than a couple of inches above my wrist, because apple butter making is hot work and wearing a sweatshirt without pushing up my sleeves simply to protect my arms was feeling absurd about half way through batch number two. Also, quilted oven mitts absorb steam. Enter welding gloves. These things stank like chemicals when they arrived, but after airing them out and testing them around the kitchen a bit, they are...

Client d'Amazon: Although the look and feel is fine, using them to get something from the oven could be quite dangerous as heat is able to transfer inside the glove. I did not burn myself but had to put the plate somewhere in a hurry quite often. This makes the gloves only usable for handling not so hot stuff which kind of defeat their purpose. Buyers should go for another brand unfortunately.
