Bubba Gump: This is the "real deal." It's true Motorcraft and not some sort of "knock off." If your owner's manual specifies "Motocraft MERCON LV Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)" this is it. It's also cheaper here than at most dealerships. I have purchased from G.P.S before and they have always delivered as advertised.

David H: I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL with the 3.0L v6, which means I have the 6F35 transmission. If you don't know about this transmission, then let me give you a crash on it. The trans filter is non serviceable. Over time, the transmission will start to shift harder and harder between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. Sometimes it feels like it's slipping, or shifts harder than normal. After a bit of driving, it seems to smooth out. The rule with this transmission, is to drain and fill the trans fluid ever 30,000 miles. The suggested way to do this is to drain the transmission (usually about 4 qts) Fill it up, start the car, with your foot on the brake, run through the gears. 5 seconds in each gear. (P, R, N, D, M) Shut off the car, check the fluid. If it is still full, drive the car around for a bit. (10-20 miles) Drain and fill again, do the same steps all over again. Then do it a 3rd time. This makes sure you get most of the old fluid out. A trans flush is strongly NOT recommended on these transmission.
