Amihai: Overall good quality wood and turns well.
I do wish the wood had came with a gentle wax coat to protect from moisture until use, like many wood suppliers do.
Also, the Purpleheart blanks are of inferior quality. They look much more brown than purple.
However, if you're just starting on the lathe and want cheap stuff to practice on - can't go wrong with this bundle.

ChuckChuck: Nice assortment of hard woods. I used them with resin. Cut them and broke them. Put them in the mold and poured resin on them. I really like house they turned out.
