The kind of toothbrush you use will determine not only whether or not you get all the gunk out of those teeth, but also whether or not you are in advertently, bruising the gums, or the inside of the cheeks of pets mouth. I have been using these finger brushes for years and they do the job and they do not create resentful, uncomfortable kitties during rush time. These are long lasting easy to clean and you can color code if you have multiple pets in the house, so that each pet gets their own toothbrush. And don’t forget to brush your teeth.

R13: Small enough for my cat and kitten, and after a little acclimation these brushes work great on them. They've destroyed a few because they love the taste of their toothpaste and found them on the drying rack - I recently bought a second package (after my first a year ago) to replace the ones they chewed through. These are great for everyday use and my boys actually enjoy getting their teeth brushed with them.

B. Murray: These are well constructed, but a bit large for my toy (weighing 7.5 lbs) Maltese. Not their fault, but just wanted other customers to know. They probably are fine for larger dogs.

Brittany Garbacz: This is a nice finger brishh compared to the stiffer bristled finger brushes I have used in the past. This is 100% soft silicone, and if you boil it beforehand, it is very soft during use. Because it is a fingerbrush, my pug accepts me putting it in his mouth more than a plain toothbrush. It seems to be quality made, and no other odd ingredients, so I would recommend these are alternatives to the regular brush.
