Pug Life: I had to chip the mortar off of some stones that used to form a chimney. It worked well. I'm really happy about the guard at the top. Saved my hands many times from a hammer strike.

TubbyNortherner: I used this go remove concrete from a breeze block wall. It worked extremely well and the job was completed relatively quickly (despite my very basic DIY knowledge). Like other reviewers have stated, the handle guard does move around a lot so be careful when you are using that hammer!
