We had a large desktop calculator purchased many years ago that had started to become a little sticky on some of the keys and you don't want to make a mistake when completing your accounts, so thought it was better to buy a new one.
I originally looked at some flashier options costing quite a bit more and I think one was even waterproof, then I found that quite a few of them were not the size I wanted, either having a display that was too small or a case that would take up half the desk.
Eventually the good sense of my wife saved me by pointing out we just needed a desk calculator and this was the best value option for what we needed. It arrived quickly and I soon found that I really like it. It's small enough to easily fit in a drawer or leave on the desk, yet has a nice clear display and comfortable large keys for easy use. I've been very impressed by the solar power and it's obvious that things have improved significantly since we bought the last one many years ago.
Overall I would say this is a good calculator for home and office use if you don't need scientific functions. It can used for Tax and Currency conversion with nice soft touch...

This calculator is very cheaply made. It is so flimsy and cheap. Also, the screen was cracked and unreadable upon arrival. I'm returning it without any issue, but I will definitely not order the same calculator as a replacement. It's very junky.
