I learned more about black history in this book than I e learned in my 40 yrs of being alive. This book explains the reasons black history is held from our education system…the truth hurts. This is a must read by for Black Americans to better understand our own history but also a must read for ALL to further understand Us, the foundation of this country and the DEEPLY-rooted issues America was built on and still struggles with to this day.

Dr. Anderson's book helped me to understand the many question in my head I didn't have the answers to. Understanding the difference between "Black Americans" and "African Americans" is very important and made clear by Dr. Anderson. Although people have the right to call themselves by whatever name they choose, This book helps you understand they reason behind the why. Lastly, it help me understand the difference between black neighborhoods and Black Communities. Understanding the meaning politically and economically are so important, and Dr. Anderson explains in clear language all of his research and discoveries. This book should be read by ALL college students and anyone who truly wants to understanding the nature of surpremcacy attitudes and How to dismantle it.
